Control Center 2.0

I just bought an Optimus IX, but the Control Center 2.0 opens and then crashes. I understand it's something to do with Clevo and I need to download a driver or something.

Please can you advise? It says my Clevo model is N850EP6

You can try uninstalling Clevo Control Centre and downloading and reinstalling it from your main PC Specialist account.

Thanks, I did that and it doesn't seem to have worked. I also looked at the Clevo website the other poster mentioned, but I couldn't find my model.

Please follow this link and download the Intel XTU software:

P.S Thanks everyone for the advice.

Interesting. This isn't the first time we've heard of XTU being mentioned alongside Clevo Control Centre: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?59666-new-defiance-v&highlight=Intel+extreme

My guess is that Clevo now require (or recommend) that XTU is installed on certain laptops and there is some sort of linkage, overlap, or connection between XTU and Control Centre such that either can, in some circumstances, affect the other (driver overlap perhaps, since they are both 'controlling' the same hardware?). It's worth remembering for the future that users complaining of problems with one might be best advised to reinstall both....?
