Cooler Master Storm Octane keyboard problem

Suddenly my Cooler Master Storm Octane keyboard has stopped working reliably. As this is a family computer used by someone else, I don't really know what happened, but I've been told it just stopped working in the middle of usual use (where usual use means Minecraft).

Some keys work as normal, but about half the keys on the keyboard don't work at all, or only occasionally. The keyboard uses the built-in USB driver, it doesn't have it's own (cheap Cooler Master model!), and ideally I'd like to try to reset it to factory defaults but I don't know how. The keyboard has a repeat rate adjustor (FN + W) which may have been pressed accidentally, but I have tried resetting it to no avail, not helped by being unable to see what the repeat rate is set to.

I can't see any similar problems anywhere searching the internet, so maybe this is a hardware problem. Since the keyboard is under warranty I may need to return to PC Specialist for a repair or replacement, but obviously that's a pain, so if anyone has any suggestions ...?

Few things to potentially try if you can.

Unplug the keyboard and plug it back in (you might need to reset the PC).
Try the keyboard on another computer (this would determine if its the keyboard or the PC that has the fault).
You can test the keys here: http://www.keyboardtester.com/

If it still doesn't work (or you try it on another PC and it doesn't work) then I'd suggest you get in touch with PCS to request a RMA.

Thanks for the hint on keyboard tester, I've include the screenshot after running the test.
Also plugged/unplugged/recycled power several times.
And tried in my laptop (the only other PC I have available) with the result of an error which may or may not be relevant: "USB device not recognized. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it."

So I think this will be a return to PCS.

Thanks again for the advice.

I'd like to add to this thread, I have the same keyboard and earlier I accidentally tripped the power surge protection because I was moving the case and knocked the power lead and when I booted on it came up with the "power surge protectiom tripped to protect PC, please press F1 to continue boot" however pressing F1 done nothing. The keyboard works perfectly fine itself, however it has to essentially "boot" each time you turn on the pc. I'm also unable to get into BIOS, is this an issue with just this model? Or is there a fix?
