Suddenly my Cooler Master Storm Octane keyboard has stopped working reliably. As this is a family computer used by someone else, I don't really know what happened, but I've been told it just stopped working in the middle of usual use (where usual use means Minecraft).
Some keys work as normal, but about half the keys on the keyboard don't work at all, or only occasionally. The keyboard uses the built-in USB driver, it doesn't have it's own (cheap Cooler Master model!), and ideally I'd like to try to reset it to factory defaults but I don't know how. The keyboard has a repeat rate adjustor (FN + W) which may have been pressed accidentally, but I have tried resetting it to no avail, not helped by being unable to see what the repeat rate is set to.
I can't see any similar problems anywhere searching the internet, so maybe this is a hardware problem. Since the keyboard is under warranty I may need to return to PC Specialist for a repair or replacement, but obviously that's a pain, so if anyone has any suggestions ...?
