Cosmos II vs. Vortex IV LE Photo/Video editing, gaming.

Hi!

I'm hunting down a new laptop and I'm hesitating between a Vortex IV LE and a Cosmos II. Here are my (wildest) dreams for a laptop:

- Doesn't overheat and last me a long time
- Photo/Video editing, graphic design, some gaming (mainly MMORGs though)
- Will carry it around so sturdier but weight is to be considered.

My questions about my quotes are:

- Are the specs I chose OK? Any comments/advice?
- Positive points for the Vortex: better GPU, upgradable RAM, more vents. Positive points for the Cosmos: better screen, lighter/thinner. Does the difference in GPUs matter a lot? Any reason why to choose the Vortex over the Cosmos?

Any suggestion much welcome :)! Thanks!

Here are the specs:

I would choose the first one. You shouldn't experience any overheating issues with either but the vortex offers better cooling and you get a better GPU for gaming.

What about an Optimus then? Less heavy than the Vortex and same GPU. The RAM is less good though, does it make a difference?
