CPU always at 100

my CPU is at 100 all of the time and isnt slowing down at all, its causing my fan to sound like a jet engine

i thought linux could run on anything

this only started yesterday, but id like to know whats going on, my laptop doesnt even seem that hot (not from PCS)

also on the system monitor there is nothing at 100, firefox is using some and so is system monitor, everything else is 0
