CPU Temps Hitting 80 Degrees

Hi guys,

While playing Modern Warfare my CPU temps are hitting 80 degrees and sit between 70-80.

I have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and a standard AMD fan. Firstly, is this an issue? Secondly, would you recommend a new fan? If so, any recommendations?

Those are optimal temps. You couldn’t do any better.

Sounds like the stock fan, it's fine. CPU's can take up to around 100 degrees. However, to prolong the life of the processor, a new cooler would be a good option.

That's great to hear. I fell there is a lot of misinformation out on the internet. I've been reading that they should not go above 80 degrees, which clearly does not seem to be true. Thanks for your replies.
