Curious about this spec..

hi so i have been mulling this over for about 2 weeks now and still can`t fully decide.
Is the PSU enough or not enough? Im very unsure about the CPU cooling system if the AMD standard one is good enough or not?
And also is this graphics card really good or not ? for the price compard to the nvidias 2060 and 2070 it seems like an 8gb card with the cheaper option may be just as good? im not sure. I want this pc for gaming and for music production i feel the 12core thread will work wonders for processing power.

Anyway if anyone can point me in the direction that would be great,
thanks

What's it for?

What's your max budget?

What monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate or make and model if you're unsure?

Just to try and help you understand, it's like asking "will my truck be able to pull this load?"

"What load"

"I don't know"

"Well how heavy is the load"

"I don't know"

See, it's kinda impossible to answer.

If you can just give the make and model of the screen we can suggest something suitable.

That’s 1080p 144hz which is entry level and doesn’t match the PC.
Id suggest having a think about your budget for the monitor, and the budget for the PC, because they need to fit each other.
we may be able to get you up to 1440p 144hz which would be a million times better.

That’s 1080p 60hz which is completely pointless for modern gaming.

ok. just looking at the list under the pc builder just now. Am i looking for the resolution when it says Resolution 1920 x 1080 ? and going with the x1080 to get what its capable of?

Don't worry finding a monitor, we can find one that fits the budget, budget is what's important. If your budget doesn't match a 1440p monitor, then we'll spec you a 1080p build.

i want a 1440p build and i`ll make it happen if it means getting a monitor that needs that. as you say 1080p 60fps is pointless, and in todays standard is prehistoric. I want games to run 144fps and above

So a good 1440p system will be around £1500, and a monitor will be around £350

Sorry, forgot monitor, added above. That's a 144Hz 1440p monitor with Freesync. Freesync is adaptive sync which adapts the frequency of the monitor to that of the GPU, so even at lower FPS when the GPU is a bit older, it will still be buttery smooth.
