Customer (dis)-service/support

I am incredibly frustrated with the standard of customer support I have/am receiving from PC Specialist. I have had various problems with the PC that I ordered from the company, but that is not my gripe.

On trying to call the customer support line, it often takes a while to get through, and I am not in a position where I am able to sit on hold for periods of time.

When you do finally get through, the customer support team don't actually do what they say they are going to, and so you end up having to call back and chase them up.

Online support, (today answered by someone I know to have previously been on the technical side of the business) are unable to help unless you want to spend more money.

I really feel, that this company has taken my money thank you very much, and now I just have to get on with it.

I am really upset that PC Specialist cannot provide the support they claim.

Sorry to hear this.

What exactly is the problem which you'd need to spend more money to sort?
Personally I've only ever had really, really great service from PCS, but I've not spoken to tech support, just the sales team so can't comment on the tech.

As for the waiting time, always check http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/call-waiting/ before calling.
It helps a lot. Hope you get your problems sorted.

Hello Bunny, I'll take the heat on this one, it was me you spoke to on Monday, after completing the email with the drivers I had said I would send I must have got distracted and minimised the email, it resulted in it not being sent, but as I already marked it from my to do list as I was halfway through it, I did not remind myself to go back to it. Not a good excuse I know.

I have learnt a lesson from this and apologise that I did not give the service you paid for, unfortunately some lessons are learned the hard way and I will ensure all responses are handled much faster.

Thanks for the acknowledgement of the part you have played in my frustration Jak.

Unfortunately this is the not the first time I have been let down, which is why I decided to air my views.

Lets hope that forward from this, support improves, it really shouldn't get to the stage where the customer is completely frustrated before things move along.

Understood Bunny, I will do what I need to to make sure the support is consistent. I hope we can get your issue resolved as soon as possible.
