Defiance II 4k screen broken

Hello everybody.
So, I have a problem. I bought this Defiance II 4k screen Gtx 970M laptop from a guy last year. He transferred me the warranty as well. Last night I wanted to wash the screen but I wasn't paying enough attention and I just sprayed some random cleaning liquid on the screen and it went down inside the screen panel. 10 minutes later the screen looked as if someone shattered it and it's not showing anything but random colored lines. I think the liquid touched the wires that connect the screen to the hardware. My question is, can I just call PC Specialist so they can pick it up and repair/replace the screen ? I don't mind paying for a new screen, I just need to know if it is this easy.

It would be easier and quicker to give them a call. The forum is not an official channel of support and lately PCS do not check the forum very often.

You certainly can call PCS and they probably will collect it and replace the screen (if they have them) but I rather think you will have to pay for it. The warranty doesn't cover wilful damage, accident, or negligence on your part I'm afraid.

Take the battery out and pop the laptop into the airing cupboard for 24 hours.

Chances are it's the water inside the spray. It may or may not have caused permanent damage - hard to tell.

I can't take the battery out, it is built inside the laptop. Also, I've tried to open it and only half of the screen shows now. Maybe it's just the wires ?
