Would be interested in your thoughts on this spec. I'm looking to replace my ageing Lightroom PC, with something that will keep up a bit better as I am using a 4k monitor & FHD monitor and it struggles. Generally ram and processor seem to make the most difference so I have focused on investing here, I have a Palit 1660 GPU in my current PC that I will switch to the new one. But have included a 650W PSU to allow upgrades if I decide to do some gaming in the future.
HDD wise
nvme #1 for OS
nvme #2 for Lightroom active projects, smart previews and catalogue etc
4TB #1 camera RAW files
4TB #2 incremental backup of data files
+ external drives for offsite backup
This is a bit more than I wanted to spend, so ideas on cutting costs would be welcome. Or if a little more in one area would make all the difference that would be good too (eg 5800 GPU)
