My cd,dvd player and burner seems to not want to play games .Every other function of the drive works ,though I have not burnt anything the thing plays cd's and dvd's ,it aids the installalation of games but I simply can not play games from disc.I can play games on Steam and it 's like but this is all.I have had this problem before and it seemingly randomly righted it's self.I have recently had a motherboard swap of the same type,like for like[ as my old one got broke along with a stick of 2 gig RAM.I have not replaced the RAM yet so am running with 2gig...My system consists of a phenom 2 x4 965 ,2 gtx 460's,650 w of Corsair psu[yes it is enough] and the aformentioned Samsung 2gigs ddr3 RAM.The Motherboard is an Asus M4N98TD EVO.Thankyou.
