Does anybody else do this?

Apologies for the intriguing title.

Whenever I start thinking about a game, or watching a game on YouTube like BF3 or Arma etc etc - I will always end up going onto the PC configuration page and build my ideal PC.
Whenever I think about my lottery tickets and wondering when I'll win - I will always end up configuring a PC.
Sometimes if I'm bored I'll head on over to the configuration page and go mental. Occasionally I'll want to try something new so I build myself an all-in-one or a laptop.

The PCs I set up are pretty much always exactly the same and I know exactly what I'll use.

I must configure a PC at least 4 times a week. All the same.

Do I need help?

You need a wife, 4 kids and a mortgage. You won't have time to think about games or a new PC and you certainly won't have the money for one.

Maybe dogbot is right and if you had lots of other things in your life you wouldn't be doing that. But before I got my PC I did exactly that, although it was more like 4 times a day rather than 4 times a week! I still do it now, building server PC's or AIO's or laptops!

Maybe I should get a hobby... I've always thought knitting was an impressive pastime.

I have too much free time to know what to do with it, oh life is so hard ;)

I used to mess around with the config page almost everyday, multiple times. :/

I haven't been on it for a while now though - though I'm still debating between SLI 670's, SLI 2GB 680's or a single 690 while I'm getting closer to the price for the rig, I'm going for enough to afford the 690 incase and then some to afford new games along with the computer. I'm only going to be using a single monitor (no space for a second monitor so a third for gaming is way out of the picture :( ) and I know SLI is aimed at multi-monitor use mostly, but I can't help but want the best I can get for my new rig, so yeah, major battle of conflictions in my mind as what to get.

Maybe, I'm not all that knowledgeable on GPU's - but I'll definitely look into it, thanks!

Hi sted now im no pc expert but wouldn't it be wise to sli 670s and then upgrade to the 680 ultra or what ever its called when its released?

The Titan has been added to the config (6GB) and its about £38 more than a 690. Is that the same one as what you referred to?

I'm getting closer to having enough for the rig, I'm just a little short right now from the target price.
