Hey

I was just about to submitt my purchase but then I noticed this in this section

wireless/wired networking

I have this selected
10/100/1000 gigabit LAN port - as standard on all pcs

Basically I want a pc which already has internet and all I want to do is type in my password without buying a dongle.

Is this right or do I need to select a wireless network pci card such as wireless 802.11n 300mpbs....

I'm a student and I'm lookong forward in purchashing what I have, just want to make sure I have the right things selected

oh ok thanks i got the wireless 802.11n 300mpbs.... is that fine?

also 1 more thing, im probably going to buy the monitor and cable for this pc seperately so will any type of monitor plug fit at the back of the computer?

Like this may sound absurd but does every pc I order from this website have a port or whatever you call it for a monitor plug even if I don't buy a monitor/monitor plug from this website?

If you could show us the PC spec you are looking at, we can tell you which cables you will need - there are a few different types of monitor cables and dependent on your choices depends which you get.

For what you've got in your machine I'd have gone for a better case than this - what are you using the machine for (though given you've gone for fast track there's not much time for any changes)?

Graphics Card
2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 660 - 2 x DVI, HDMI, - 3D Vision Ready
You will have a choice of DVI or HDMI ports for your monitor

I will like to use programs like autodesk maya to render good quality stuff quite fast because I am running out of time

yes lol im already over my budget had to sacriifce something such as the case ;)

Honestly will it make any difference to pc performance???

Better case, better cpu cooler, better graphics card. Any motherboard will offer similar performance, the one I chosen is cheaper because it offers less expansion slots.

thanks lol well I modified my cooler to your version as well and I updated my case

regarding the price how does it look now because i cant go any roe up

also 1 more question before I go ahead

lets say i get my pc in a week and it breaks in a week (which I doubt) or I'm not happy with it, can I return and get my money back or can I only get a fixed version?

and when do they withdraw the money, when it is built and ready or right after I purchase it.

I offered my 2 cents regarding the motherboard, for your intended use you don't need it. You can save money and get a better case than the one you have selected now. The coolermaster 311 is not suitable for a gaming rig, you can also get a better gpu for your budget but it is really up to you.
From the T&C you have 7 working days to return the system if you are not happy with it once you receive it for a refund. The money will be debited as soon as you place your order.

I know what you mean and I really appreciate your help but my head at the time was bombarded with so many opinions from so many people (I changed from AMD to Intel to amd to intel to video cards, etc) so finally I just wanted to go through with what I wanted. Plus I also read stuff (not saying it's true or false) that geforce works better on autodesk maya than radeon so that's why I chose this video card so I'm sorry ):

Anyway so far so good, I ordered on Wednesday and they built, checked, tested, packaged and now I just received an email saying it will arrive on Monday!!!!

So far so good, a damn good, clear and fast service ;)

By the way I received an email saying

'You have ordered a graphics card with your computer and your motherboard comes supplied with integrated graphics. When connecting your monitor it is important that you connect your monitor cable to the output on the graphics card and NOT the output on the motherboard, because by doing so your monitor will not display anything on the screen.'

How can I tell which one is what? I obviously want to connect my monitor cable to the output of the gtx660 graphics card not the motherboard, so how can I tell? Is the video card usually the one at the top or left/right?

Worse case scenario I'll try both and the one that works is the one I need because it says the monitor will not display anything if it's wrong
