Hi I want it for gaming. Mainly flight simulators. Ok to spend just over £2000.
I have a newish 32 inch curved monitor 1920 x 1080. Phillips 328E8QJAB5.

For that monitor, the 3080 is way over what is needed. For a 1080p screen and flight sims, the max would be the 2060 which is £500 cheaper...to be honest, even the 2060 is over-powered for that monitor but the features of the 2060 make it a reasonable choice.

You have a 1080p 75Hz monitor...the 3080 is a 4k 144Hz GPU. If it was me, I'd be wanting to upgrade the monitor to at least a 1440p one to take full advantage of the graphics of MSFS20. This spec would likely be over-powered for the current flight sim but would cover you for older iterations of it..would need adjusting if used with a better monitor:

Over the years I have always gone with the cheaper option and then had to upgrade. I would like something that will last me a few years. I just thought it was better to over do it.

If you're willing to upgrade the monitor to make use of the 3080, then just swap to the 3080 in @Nursemorph build above, and then you'll need

I really wouldn't recommend your build, a it's intel which are just years behind AMD now, and are riddled with security issues that can't be patched, but aside from that there are a lot of other factors that just don't suit the build, it's budget components mixed with top end core parts, not a good idea.

@Nursemorph build would give FAR better performance, better upgradeability and is a better price.
