Why i cant choose at the 1st graphic card the 1080 ti gpu?
If i want the 1080 ti i need to choose the integrated one and then at the 2nd the 1080 ti?

Since im here can you advice me a setup for gaming at 4k resolution and in a 1080p resolution 240hz monitor. That being a setup that can achieve 240 fps in the highest 1080p settings for competitive gaming. And also for 4k resolution gaming at a 4k monitor. If u can advice me a 4k and 1080p 240hz monitors g sync i appreciate. So in the setup i will need that it be g sync addapt.

Thanks in adance.

That is very odd. Maybe it is a glitch due stock shortages? I notice it is greyed out in the second GPU option. It might be worth giving them a call. You can always purchase your own card to add in when you get it and it can well be cheaper than the Asus version on the configurator.

If it was me, I would go for a pre-overclocked system plus faster RAM to get the best gaming performance possible. I game at 4k on my TV and have a 24" 1440p 144Hz monitor for faster paced games so I'm afraid not too much help on monitors.

What is your budget?

No idea why you can't select the GPU, maybe the configurator has got a problem for that spec.

However, you could draw up the same spec in the regular Z370 configurator
here: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/intel-z370-pc/
Or an overclocked version here: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/intel-z370-overclocked/
where the GPU choices seem to work as normal.

About the pc itself maybe around 3500 euros but i guess i can go higher.
About the screen the 4k one i would like to hold for a hdr price decrease. Until there i need a competitive 1080p monitor. And i think a 240hz monitor without overclock need would be nice.
Also i pretend to video edit on it and maybe live stream also in the future.
The 1080p monitor maybe the 24.5 inches AW2518HF. The 1080p i guess its better between 21 and 24 inches. The 4k 24 to 27 inches. I dont know about the curved screens since i never tried one.
https://www.amazon.es/Alienware-AW2...149653&sr=8-1&keywords=Dell+Alienware+AW2518H
I do prefer a 4k and 1080p monitor intead a 2in1 due to the dpi. Otherwise the AG251FG would be a option.
Im more into the XB252Q.

If u wanna add keyboard, mouse and headphones to my build i accept opinions. From what i know now there is rechargable wifi mouses due to the cable mouse pads. But im more into cable mouse and keyboards but i would like to know your opinion keeping in mind thars more for competitive gaming. I want build in a way that it ables future upgrades/updates. A total 5000 euro budget with monitor pc keyboard and mouse should be a good start. Thanks again for your help.

But this is 1000€ more for a CPU that, if you're not streaming, would give slightly lower framerate in gaming and 32gb RAM which will be useless to you outside of video editing. And depending on your editing work may not be much more help than 16gb anyway...

For straight gaming esp pushing max FPS, the i7 8700k is the better choice. It is also perfectly capable for video editing and streaming.

Yeah i think the 8700k its good enough. Now about the ram i think i will go for 32gb 2x16 or 4x8 im not sure. About the cooling its that one enough for hours of gameplay? About the m.2 between that one and the 500 pro whats ur opinion? And about the power supply keeping in mind the future its good enought?
One more think im living in Portugal but its in Madeira that is a island of Portugal. Does pcspecialist delivery to here?

Maybe 16gb is good enough.
I think it is more than enough, for gaming and streaming. There is very little difference between 8gb and 16gb for games performance, so 16gb is more than enough. Go for 2x8gb RAM.

This leaves 2 slots free if you ever need to add more in the future for video editing. Gaming won't need more - because by the time games benefit, the rest of the system will be obsolete and we'll probably be on DDR5 RAM anyway.

About the cooling its that one enough for hours of gameplay?
Yes :)

About the m.2 between that one and the 500 pro whats ur opinion?
The SSD speed makes no difference to gaming performance. And the PM961 is almost as fast as the 960 Pro anyway.

However, the PM961 is only ~£40 more than the 960 Pro, but is twice the size. So I think the PM961 is the better choice for gaming etc.

And about the power supply keeping in mind the future its good enought?
Yes, the RMx series is very good quality and 850W is a lot of headroom for future upgrades.

One more think im living in Portugal but its in Madeira that is a island of Portugal. Does pcspecialist delivery to here?
I'm not sure. I'd say probably yes if it's still part of the EU - but maybe best phone them or email them to ask. :)

Should i add the extra case fans 2x120mm option or no?
I will switch the home for the pro Windows 10 in your 8700k build and the OS language maybe to US.
Can you lead me to a 240Hz 1080p monitor? A nice mouse, keyboard and speakers/headset for competitive gaming if you know and have time. Thanks.

No - if you wan an extra fan, add 1 fan only. The case has 6 fan mount spots. 3 are used up by the case's own fans. 2 are used by the H100i. So you only have room for 1. You don't need 1 extra fan, but there's no harm in having it. :)

I can't because I don't know monitors and keyboards etc very well but I'm sure others here can.

Some questions that came to my mind:
How much the crypto is increasing pc costs in europe? With more specific detaild in pcspecialist prices.
I heard that the gtx2080 its near to be released. Do you know anything about it?
The 9700k probably is going to be released at 4q 2018 what is a bit to far. But if the gpu is releasing 2q 2018 maybe worths the wait?
Once released pcspecialist gets it immediately?

Good to know, ty for feeding back :)

How much the crypto is increasing pc costs in europe? With more specific detaild in pcspecialist prices.
GPU prices have been highly inflated by mining, and probably other factors too. Prices are apparently starting to cool a bit now, but that hasn't fed through massively to consumers yet. Furthermore, AMD seems to have had real issues with supplying enough GPUs to meet demand, meaning (even) less competition for Nvidia in the gaming space which I'm sure hasn't helped prices either.

PCS's GPU prices were largely insulated for a long time. Their GPUs were cheaper by a lot compared to many other stores. Perhaps they had a good price fixed in a contract or something. But recently, their prices too have fallen prey to the general increased GPU prices for most of their GPUs.

I heard that the gtx2080 its near to be released. Do you know anything about it?
That rumour is doing the rounds, but then it was rumoured ages ago that it would be trailed in late March too - which ofc it wasn't. Nvidia aren't in a rush to release new gaming GPUs since AMD's supply is low and they dominate the top end anyway.

So, nobody knows.

Once released pcspecialist gets it immediately?
They almost always seem to get new hardware, especially for desktops, on Day 1. Often with preorders available.

Do note that when the GTX 1080 came out, a few units were sold but then there were a good couple of months where availability anywhere was 0 as Nvidia had problems with supply.

Whether any of these are worth the wait is ultimately down to you

One more thing - warranty.

Given that shipping to you seems quite difficult you might want to ask PCS if the extra carriage costs for the warranty upgrades apply to your location.

If they do, you might want to buy the warranty upgrade for 3 years, because if you're unlucky and something fails and needs to be sent back to PCS, it will be a lot less hassle to have shipping covered under the warranty.

I will ask if it applys to my location. Thanks for the warning. Just to check you mean the Platinum warranty pack?
About the case, between the "CORSAIR CRYSTAL SERIES 570X GAMING CASE + RGB Fans!" that you mentioned and the "COOLERMASTER MASTERCASE H500P GAMING CASE" (no rgb fans added here?). In terms of future upgrades/adds, cooling and features/fans/bays/usb & audio which is better? 200mm fans should be what kills it due to not being easy to find that size. I just ask this because i was between those both before started the thread, went with the h500p but now after thinking about the fan size avaiability i definitely im into the 570x. But a more contructive info would be nice to know.
The problem of waiting for the gpu is that then it comes motherboard (z390 that supports the 8700k and probably the 9700k) then the processor 9700k itself. So yeah... although if the crypto demand decreases it will be cheaper builds. On the other end 5 months of waiting until start a competitive gaming that if works can even pay the upgrades themselfs. Hard decisions. I blame miners.

Yeah, that's what I mean :)

They both have RGB fans. I think the 570X just says " + RGB fans!" because it was one of the first cases PCS offered that had RGB fans, so they wanted to make it obvious :)

I suggest you just go for whatever case you like the look of best / like the features of best. Both are fine. The H500P's fan RGB can be controlled via the motherboard with Gigabyte Fusion or Asus Aura Sync, while the 570X has its own, separate controller for the fan RGB lighting.

Corsair's fans have a very good reputation.

The 570X has tempered glass all around, while the H500P has tempered glass on the side window only.

I believe they have the same numbers of drive bays:

It is hard. That said, new hardware is always coming out, so it's always possible to wait for the next thing.

Below the quotation for delivery to Madeira.

Express: £135.82 inc. Portuguese VAT at 22% - €154.90
Approximately 4 to 5 working day delivery time, once dispatched.

Economy: £89.68 inc. Portuguese VAT at 22% - €102.28
Approximately a 2 to 3 week delivery time, once dispatched.

Noting that the above quotations for delivery to Madeira via TNT are only valid for 5 days (3,4 days left now).

The Platinum Warranty will not cover Collection & Return to or from Madeira as this is technically outside pcspecialist service area. This is a one off cost for delivery of my system to myself (they can send to me by TNT but its still has i am doing the shipping "by myself"). The cover Parts and Labour warranty components are still applied.

All that being said to avoid bad lucks the express should be the method of shipping choosen? And witch warranty should i choose? Probably i will need to ask if they reduce prices of the platinum warranty since the collect&return arent applied.

It's certainly a good idea to ask. Most places PCS ship to (UK and mainland Europe) the carriage costs cover does apply, so it isn't a question that comes up often.

If they don't reduce the cost of the extra warranty, I'm not sure what I would recommend. I believe all the components have their own warranties, usually for 2-3 years depending on the part, so you may be able to go directly to the manufacturer, or to the manufacturer via PCS as an intermediary, after the 1 year parts cover from PCS direct is up.

All that being said to avoid bad lucks the express should be the method of shipping choosen?
I'm sure both methods are equally reliable. I might be tempted to get the express, personally, just because it's 1 week delivery instead of 2-3 weeks.

+rep for posting back with the above info btw - it is very interesting and may be useful to others :)
