DVD Drive Not Showing?

I've had my Vortex 15" Laptop from PCS for just over a week now. I've just put my RCT3 disc in, as I fancied a play. It spins, briefly, but no disc image appears. Help?

Just looked in device manager and it says the following;
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

These are the available drivers from PCS, but which one is my DVD driver?

It's a legacy device so drivers should be contained within windows. May be worth uninstalling the dvd drivers, then reinstalling your chipset drivers first, then reinstalling the dvd drive on restart.

Thanks, I can uninstall the DVD drivers fine. But how do I reinstall the chipset drivers?

Just download the 01 package and run it, if it says drivers are already installed go ahead anyway.

Still didn't work. However...

After following online instruction..

I went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} and deleted the data under UpperFilters and it's working :D
