I have a new desktop PCS with and ASUS® P9X79: INTEL® SOCKET LG2011 motherboard that uses SATA drives and an older PCS desktop that uses IDE drives I want to use a DVD writer that has light scribe capabilities. Where can I connect this drive to my motherboard

I don't think your motherboard has an IDE port,there are adaptors available but I'm not sure how well these work.
