Just purchased a Creative sound blaster X-Fi extreme audio and performed all updates thereon. Much to my disappointment there is no trace of the excellent prog. EAX console, in fact there's no trace of anything to effectively control this card (not even a basic sound mixer) other than a paltry volume control.
Any users with this card and what do they use on the control side of things please.
Comments/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Righto, will go for it for the 3rd time but probably manyana!!
In the meantime, when I try to launch the 'cosole launcher' I get the message .........

The current selected audio device is not supported by the application. Do you want to select another audio device now .......

jftr, I'm going to try the beta d/load now & if there's still probs I'll kick the lot off and start again.

Beta made no difference. OK, sys restore back a few days to ensure all creative software gone. Installed disc followed by updates and all fine now.
