after almost half a year of service my eco coolit alc suddenly died, it happened today when i turned on the pc, temp quickly jumped up to 90c then it lead me to bios, phoned tech support (initial guess is that the pump is not working anymore) and ask me to changed the cpu cooler if i got a spare one luckily i got a new corair h80 under my bed so install it and runs fine now,,,,,he sent me rma number to replace it. but im just a bit curios about those cooler are their life expectancy is that really low? should i switch to air cooling solution? what ya think guys?

Maybe all eco coolers are programmed to die in one way or another in February? :D

Hopefully get my PC back in the next couple of days...

The same happened to me. I think the pump has failed and so it doesn't cool down the CPU and it rapidly shoots up to 75 degrees celsius and the computer shuts down becuase of the auto shut-down safety feature
