Hi im running a laptop on vista when i go onto a website and click contact nothing happens any ideas guys please

It means you do not have any email client installed on your computer. You would need outlook, or any other client to be installed on your computer then it would automatically open and let you type.

Have you linked it to you email address? Sounds like it isn't set up properly. what email client are you using? The more information you give the easier it is to help.

You mean PC specialist website? If so, address is "[email protected]" just open your web interface for emails (outlook.com, gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc...) and send email to that address.

I think he's taking about when you click on any email links from any website and it then brings up your email client with the 'send to' already populated, rather than just trying to contact PCS

Sorry but you need to give a much more detailed rundown of what exactly happens, what stage you receive the errors what exactly they say. Anything that might be useful, obviously the more you tell us the more we can work out the problem

sorry the authentication error come up as soon as i open up opera all the error says is ******@talktalk.net authentication failed thats all i can tell you really

It has to be me cos ive uninstalled opera and im on eM client still doing the same

You need to input the correct details for your talk talk email address. You will probably need outgoing/incoming mail server addresses. Are you missing out anything in the boxes where you put your info?

as far as im aware ive put everything in correctly including the pop3 smtp i am with sky if it makes any difference

which sever details are you using, because its a talk talk email address but they will have stopped letting you use their outgoing mail server when you cancelled your account with them.

A sky email address? it might be easier, you don't have to (but it requires some configuration which is a nightmare to explain on the forum)
