Enigma IV Frezze at start

First of all excuse me for bad english :)

I ordered an Enigma IV and today just arrived, the computer without operating system so i diced to install one actually linux the problem is when trying to boot from a CD or some bootable think is introduced the computer just freeze and i cant go to bios, boot menu, etc. For solving this i just put off the CD and laptop works but i want to install my linux and some windows and i just got frozen thanks for all :)

You might need to adjust the bios settings before you put the CD in so that it defaults to booting from disc first?

Does this happen with other media (usb stick for example?) or only when you put a CD in?

Yep, bios works fine is all in order, and no only when i put a dvd/cd for an usb stick works fine
