I reinstalled the Realtek Lan Driver.

Still no internet.

Entering the disk seems to have also removed the Unknown Device.

That's the network driver you need,it should be on the disk,did you run the full installation from the motherboard disk,this also contains chipset driver etc.

They may be more updated than the ones provided on the disk, it's worth a try with them.

The thing is that it worked last time straight away after Windows was installed. So I can only assume it's the motherboard.

I pulled out the power lead, waited 30 seconds, and then put it back in.

And I bet that's what I just had to do in the first place.
