EZ flash 2

hi thinking of putting a new asus m5a 78l motherboard into my old computer and use it for downloading and keep my new gaming rig for gaming I never done this before but willing to have a go the question I have is do I update the bios with EZ flash 2 before I install the os

Wouldn't having 2 computers on at all times waste power, the only way id do this is if the 2nd computer was a silent or very close to silent computer (no fans) so it could run through the night, but tbh, as long as you set fans to low and close everything but steam/origin then your PC should be quiet
