Failing to boot

Have myself a Defiance Series: 16.1 since 2019 and today i had the same exact problem. Has this been solved somnehow?
Not solved, however found that it's actually the mouse. I rarely, if ever use my laptop without the mouse. I think it has something to do with the mouse having onboard memory and the laptop trying to boot from it (don't ask me why or how lol) the boot priority order is fine, but only want to start booting windows when I unplug the mouse. Happens with both Corsair harpoon and Corsair Scimitar.

Thank you for your feedback, happy to hear you got a way to bypass it. I'm using a Logitech G703 and while i left if USB plugged during the evening... the boot issue happens without any USB hardware plugged in. Was wondering if PCSPECIALIST were able to troubleshoot your laptops problem?

@donutbacon and @ppintheworld, the OP (@Squirem8) bought with No-OS and made the classic mistake of activating the PCS test Windows system with his own product key. That is known to cause all sorts of issues.

Have either of you done the same thing?

Also try turning Windows Fast Startup off. That is known to not play well with some motherboards.

@ubuysa Thanks for the prompt answer!

No, in fact purchased the laptop with "Genuine Windows 10 Home 64 Bit - inc. Single Licence" back in 2019.

Just sent an email earlier with further details including the laptop specs and request for support, but i've made a 30 sec video to show the occurence: https://we.tl/t-chCll4bLV6

What could be done to boot it in another way?

Cheers

One you get it to boot type the command powercfg.cpl into the Run command box. In the window that opens click the 'choose what the power buttons do' list item at the left. Uncheck the Fast Startup checkbox.

@ubuysa Indeed, the problem is that it doesn't boot at all. The screen remains dark black, no bios, no safe mode - stays as per the short clip shared in we transfer.
