Fan is not spinning

Hello,

I have noticed that my Vyper 17.3 CPU fan is not spinning no air is coming out, even when im playing or working. GPU fan seems to be fine, the air is blowing out from the right side and back of the laptop, but nothing comes out from the left side+back.

CPU goes as high as 80-90c even when using a low resource programs/games.

I received this laptop few days ago, and noticed this problem straight away, also i have sent a few emails asking for help from techsupport but still no answer from them.

Is there anything i could do or try to do to fix this by myself? if it's possible of course..

It may be worth opening up the bottom of the laptop and just checking the CPU fan cable is plugged in. You're allowed to open it up without affecting warranty, PCS have an open chassis policy so you can perform any upgrades or amendments or maintenance you like so long as you don't do any damage in the process.

Both fans seems to be working, however, the marked area still gets very hot, i dont know if this is normal.

I don't know...I do know some parts of some laptops do seem to get quite hot compared to the rest of the case. @SpyderTracks any thoughts as to whether this is normal on the Vyper?

On the Vyper you have to manually adjust fan profiles with the boost button or it will overheat.

Yes, or just the boost button by the power.

With FAN boost mode on, fans are working really loud but at least they keep CPU and GPU with lower/low C*, but the middle of the laptop where is the pipes still gets really hot, probably it's normal, dunno..

The best way to be sure is monitor your temps with HWMonitor when idle and under load, that will tell you if there's any out of bounds overheating:
