Fans keep powering my machine off.

Hello,

I have had my 14" Lafité® Pro less than a week now and only last night and today i seem to have ran into this problem. My fans will randomly just go full power out of nowhere for about 1-2mins max and then the system just powers off.

Apart from this problem i am very impressed by this laptop, i would really appriciate if anyone could advise me of a solution. As a last option i'd resend it back and let them check it out but that could be weeks which i want to avoid.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply i have gone ahead and done this as shown below. it doesn't seem like my temps are too bad and my fans arent noisey unless im gaming so its very strange that they ramdomly come on full whack.

Thanks Again.

Can you post your full specs from the order page?

We need to take thermal readings when it's under load, so you need to run something like firestrike and record temperatures during that load.

Without troubleshooting there's little we can do, it's likely just a bad paste job which you could correct yourself very easily.

I Mean from hunting about and seeing what other people have said its nothing to do with my temps etc my fans are not on at all for hours(at them speeds, can barely hear it) and the temps are low and then they will come on max speed for 30seconds to 1min and then just completely switch off.

i believe maybe it is my power supply tripping out my motherboard or my motherboard is just glitching out either way its not something i can do myself.

Even if it was something i can do myself i didn't pay a company 2k less than a week ago to get my hands stuck in and start messing about. Ill just leave it the (Specialists).

Again, without troubleshooting it’s impossible to say. Never assume anything, always prove it.
