I've been through hell with my PC this week trying to stop my games from crashing. My entire pc would freeze, sound would loop the last couple seconds, and then would stay frozen like this until I held down the power button. After various fault finding the crash changed to my monitors going on standby as well as my pc freezing, and sound looping.

I've uninstalled and re-installed every driver on my pc, upgraded BIOS, rolled back BIOS, cleaned my pc, uninstalled and reinstalled games.

Have followed every step to fix each of the windows error reports I identified and nothing has stopped the pc from freezing in games.

The DxDiag had all sorts of windows and memory related faults, so I was recommended to refresh my windows.

The DxDiag below is from before I refreshed my windows, you can see there are loads of errors.

Which I guess is an improvement, however I cannot tell anywhere online what these errors mean. Can anyone please help I'm going crazy

Is this a PCS computer build? If so, could you post your config from your order page please.

It really helps us if we have the full system specifications listed from the order page along with the symptoms you're facing. Reason being is there can be multiple possible influences to one symptom, and seeing the entire specs helps us narrow down where to look.

I'm sure one of the experts (@SpyderTracks) will be along shortly to analyse the info further, or ask for something other than just the DxDiag logs.

But from my limited understanding it looks like a memory leak, possibly related to War Thunder. Does the same fault occur when trying to launch anything else?

It may simply need a full DDU uninstall & reinstall of the graphics drivers...or as much as a wipe & reinstall of Windows.
 
it is happening on all of my games. i have uninstalled and reinstalled graphics drivers, rolled back drivers, installed again.
have just done the windows refresh (but keeping personal files) and issue still here

A refresh isn't the same as a Windows reinstall mate, you'll lose the files on the same drive as it wipes everything not backed up
 
okay I have windows installed on my C drive along with various programme files.
but on my D drive i have all of my games etc

if i do the reinstall windows option choosing not to keep my files, will it only wipe my C drive? or will it wipe my D drive as well

When you perform the clean install you will select the C drive as your install path for the OS which you will format at the same time. This will leave the D drive alone.

A clean install is the only option, you do this by hitting from a USB, not within windows.

The first part of installation asks you what disk to install to, you delete all partitions off the c drive and install to the spare space. It won't affect your d drive.

There are now memory issues?

I'm going to clean install windows, then if that doesn't work get new RAM? and then just buy an xbox or something...
