Heya! A few questions first;

1) What will you be doing with the PC?
2) What's your budget for the PC?
3) What monitor will be paired with the build? (Either make and model or resolution and refesh rate would be ideal!)
4) Would you be able to provide the configurable link for this spec?

Once we have that info, we'll be happy to help. Thanks!

Sorry for the delayed response, is this 1080p 144hz monitor you already own? For a £2,000 budget you'd really ideally be looking at 1440p.

Also does work involve any especially intensive programs? Or is it just your usual Zoom/ Teams and MSFT Office applications?

Hello, no worries at all, I currently do not own the monitor yet, it was just a temporary choice.

Work is on MSFT Office applications.

This is where I would go with £2000 for the PC and monitor. Left £300 for you to grab a 1440p 144hz display that will go nicely with the 3060ti. Our main picks would be the Gigabyte M27Q, the Asus VG27AQ and the Dell S2721DGF.

Switched over to AMD, as there aren't any mid range CPU coolers on the 12th gen Intel configurator that I would like to go for. The 5600x has less of a thermal output so will do fine with the Coolermaster cooler, in comparison I would ideally spend £100+ on an AIO cooler to keep the 12700k in check.
Great performing CPU in the 5600x, 16GB of fast RAM, a GPU to perform well with a 1440p monitor, and an NVME SSD for some faster storage for your OS and programs. The PSU is buffed up to run cooler and quieter, and also leave some room for upgrades down the line.
Ditched Bullguard because it's been known to cause issues, and Silver Warranty for a fiver is well worth it.

Good to know. With a 1080p 144hz monitor averaging around £200 would it be fair to say you have about £2,200 to spend on the PC and monitor?
If you have an extra £200 to put into the setup there are a couple of extra things I could beef up with the build, so please do let us know what the overall budget is. :)

@AgentCooper ..... please don't ban Agent @MrWilson.... he didn't mean it 😇 :ROFLMAO:

Sorry op, little inside joke there. The suggested spec and advice is fabby :D

That said, if you aren't in a rush you may want to hold off for the AMD refresh due very soon. It depends how quickly you need the build :)
