Hello Everyone!

Today is a happy day, I found this website a while ago and with a budget of £800 I got to work. Although it has taken me a week and my greediness has spiralled out of control. I started off toying with the Voyager and after speccing it up found myself over budget at £950... Then it hit me, well if I'm going to spend that much maybe I could do with a better chassis, so I rolled along from Skyfire to Optimus and finally landed with this:

Yes I know, I think there is a very good chance that upon reading this I will not be getting any of your votes should I ever run for Chancellor of the Exchequer however that £436 overspend has been made up of lots of little increases that I have justified to myself using delusion and rationale fit for any Tory minister. Now all I need is some circular backslapping from you guys and I can try and forget that for the next few months I will be surviving on cheap rice and whatever foodstuffs I can scavenge from my housemates cupboards.

What do you think of the build? Also I am living in Spain, does anyone have any experience with the overseas shipping? The Spanish postal service is a complete joke so I hope the great courier reviews extend this far south!

I'm not really in a massive rush for this little beasty(Lies, all lies ), is it possible that PCS can test and QA for an extra day or two to ensure there are no faults as I think I might cry (stomp around like Godzilla with a 3 day hangover) if I needed to ship it back?

Expectant and going hungry,
Cadwah

You sound exactly like me, you have a budget in mind, but as soon as you're given options you end up spending hundreds more :D

Yes... Even now when they have my money and the order is in processing... I'm looking at that GPU thinking ooooh for an extra £90 I could have the 675MX, it's only £90, go on you know you want to...

Edit: My will power has the breaking strain of a Kit-kat... GPU upgraded... :D

Hahaha! Just stop visiting the site or you'll end up spending even more!

I caved and chucked another £39 at mine to get it fast tracked. I'm glad I did though as it's already built and is about to go into testing :)

Fact: Visiting this site drunk is a mistake... 8GB Ram please make way for 16GB.

Ok, I need to stop now before I make a complete mockery out of my chosen thread title, this thing will never get to build at this rate.

Hahaha! At least you'll get to a point where nothing can be upgraded at all because you've already got the highest spec possible.

In other news, mine is awaiting dispatch. Woohoo!
