I currently have a 19" LCD monitor so the resolution will be 1280 x 1040. Is there any point in adding a second GTX 460 in SLI (obviously I'll be upgrading the monitor in the near future)?
On that point, I assume it is best to add the exact same GPU as is already supplied, will I be able to obtain details of the GPU w/o having to open up the case from PCS. I have also read about warranty issues etc., and as I am a novice when it comes to installing hardware is it really worth adding a second GPU in SLI at this time until I upgrade the monitor?
Having said that I plan to add a HDD that I have already from my last desktop, will this invalidate warranties etc., again I haven't added/removed any hardware before so I would be cautious about doing so until I knew what I was doing.
Cheers!
