Hello everyone,

I finally have saved enough money to splurge onto a PC.

Just want to confirm my final spec before going through with purchasing it. Is there any additions/changes that you would make. Ill be new to PC gaming and would use a controller for the majority of time spent on it. However, I want it RGB mad, I play FPS (comp cod) and RPG games (assassin’s creed, gta, etc) and I would use it for basic work stuff (word, PowerPoint etc etc etc). I already have a pretty nifty Dell S2719DGF 27" QHD (2560 x 1440) 155hz monitor - hence the big spec.

Any recommendations would be hugely appreciated, just need to click the dreaded ‘buy’ button now...

No worries. For about £60 over, this is what I’d suggest.

The case you’ve picked it out of stock so gone for a less expensive one that has 3 ARGB fans. I’ve added the WiFi version of the motherboard and removed the WiFi card as it’s the same tech and works out slightly cheaper. The 6700XT performs between the 3060TI and the 3070 but is currently less than the 60TI. If you get It at the current price it’s a fantastic deal in today’s market. For storage, I’ve upgraded to a 2TB HDD as it’s only a £13 increase then there’s a super fast Gen 4 M.2 for Windows and programs then a 1TB SSD for your games. Otherwise it’s the same I believe.

You could add an AIO to the CPU (the Cooler Master 240 is great for £45) but realistically it’s not totally necessary, the stock cooler does a perfectly good job. It’s just a bit of a luxury and technically adds a few case fans.
