Finger Print sensor not working and Sound Blaster Atlas not working correctly.

Me and my partner ordered the defiance series laptop and when it arrived i stupidly decided to reinstall windows on it. After doing so my finger print sensor has stopped working, and when i load up sound blaster atlas it says to connect a supported device?

with the fingerprint sensor i have checked device manager and there is an unknown device there which i believes is that however i cannot find a driver for it. i have contacted pcs and have been told that both issues should be installed through windows and that they don't provide the drivers for them. I have reinstalled windows and tried again and still cant get it to work, however when reinstalling windows i have used the media creation tool form Microsoft and not the .iso file in my downloads so not sure if that's where i have been going wrong? i have tried downloading that file but its gets to around 1gb downloaded and stops, i have tried to download it multiple times with the same outcome?

i'm hoping someone on this forum can help me before having to issue an RMA.

I ran windows update multiple times across restarts and then proceeded to download the drivers on my download page. I also have checked the device hardware i.d and googled it and it is definitely the finger print sensor.

Can you post the hardware and before ID? That will give you the driver link.

I don't know if it's worth noting, the SGX file i downloaded from my download page has a device setup which doesn't do anything? i don't know if this is linked?

Had the same problem with my Defiance before the drivers became available in the PCS downloads. I tried SBX and Realtek drivers from other clevo retailers for similar models (matching hardware IDs), without luck. In the end, the drivers became available from PCS so I used DDU to remove the Realtek drivers and also removed all sound blaster stuff. Then reinstalled Realtek, then SBX, and Sound blaster atlas started working finally.

Not sure the issue about the finger print driver though.
