For Unreal Engine do you get all your megascan assets for free? peronsally if your going to do a lot of 3d scene renders etc i would peronsally wait for the 3090 this may suit your needs but this however depends on the amount of vram you use. 24gb is great amount to work with

But as Nursemorth says probably best to see what spydertracks and scott say for the general build.

I would probably opt for the 3950X regardless, it's going to have a big impact on performance over time. The GPU is very likely to be replaced at some point in the systems lifespan anyway so spending less budget here with a view to purchase an upgrade later would be my way of thinking.

That being said, we will need to wait and see how the 3090 fairs with professional workloads. The Quadro cards are often designed with a different structure that lends itself better to professional applications. I would hold off regardless as those Quadro's are expensive and, IMO, less value.

I would suggest a couple of changes, nothing major just a better scratch drive really and a larger storage drive that's fairly comparable in performance yet still cheaper. Oh, 2x32GB as well on the RAM allows for addition later on, 4x16GB is very restrictive. It's at the cost of 200mhz but if you call PCS they may have other options available.

That's where your Windows will be installed. Installing your OS on an M.2 drive will help it run much quicker than if it was on a different type of drive.
