First build, suggestions?

Looking to build a high-performance gaming PC with flexibility in what it can run, i.e. I won't be running Battlefield 4 on max settings, but I don't want to struggle with any high rendering games. No particular budget, I'm willing to spend whatever to get what will make this. Any feedback is appreciated, particularly anything I may have misunderstood, anything you wouldn't/would recommend, potential drawbacks and anything I may have missed. Thanks in advance!

TL;DR - Gaming PC, flexible budget, whatever feedback you can think of.

You've got an X99 chipset build with an entry level graphics card, so you'd have boat loads of processing power, 50% of which would never be used, and then poor graphics computing so you'd have to turn down the graphics on most games.

Alright, thanks man, do you think there's anything else? Also why did you add in that second small hard drive?

The small one is an SSD (solid state drive) which are around 5 times faster than HDD's (older normal mechanical hard drives). The idea is you put your OS (windows) and games on the SSD, then they open damn fast and speed everything up, then you keep all your data on the normal HDD. That way you have optimum performance for programs and loading times, yet still space for all your data.

The only other thing you may want is more storage, if so, I'd recommend more WD Caviar Blacks as they're the fastest and most reliable there are.

Good thinking. I think the 2TB HDD on there will take me a while to fill up, most of my files are on my external 2TB anyway and backed up on another device so I should be fine there. If you think all the cooling, power, etc will be fine then I'll save that and thank you for your help.:)
