Hi all
I was hoping you experienced forum go’ers could lend a hand/ advice to my first gaming PC build. I have had a look at some of the other threads here and like the look of some of the builds suggested.
I am after a gaming computer which will also be used for general home use. I play games on Steam, however my main focus would be EVE Online. According to their website, their Windows system requirements are:
"Minimum System Requirements:
· OS: Windows XP Service Pack 2 / Vista / 7 / 8
· CPU: Intel Dual Core @ 2.0 GHz, AMD Dual Core @ 2.0 GHz
· RAM: XP SP2 – 1 GB / Vista and newer – 2 GB
· Video: AMD Radeon 2600 XT or NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS
Note that older graphics cards such as the NVIDIA 6000 and 7000 series may work but are not officially supported. Please note that Windows 95, 98, ME, NT and 2000 are not supported.
Recommended System Configuration:
· OS: Windows 7 / 8
· CPU: Intel i7 Series or AMD X4 @ 2.0 GHz or greater
· RAM: 4 GB or higher
· Video: AMD Radeon 6790 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or better with at least 1 GB VRAM"
Not knowing anything about Motherboards, CPU’s and all that stuff, I am welcoming any assistance. I am willing to splash out a little more cash if it means the games will run better. My maximum budget is £700 but if I can get a PC which will run EVE comfortably for cheaper I’d take it.

- PCS DOMINATOR 6806B BLACK CASE OR PCS DEFENSOR 7203B BLACK CASE
- 16GB Kingston DDR3 1600MHz
