First PC for Art Student

Hi! I'm an art student who uses Adobe Suite (primarily Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects) and AutoDesk Maya (looking to learn new 3D software). I also game in my free time. This will be my first PC after 6 years of using the same iMac.

I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to PC specs so I basically tried to copy a build guide for a budget rendering computer. I want something fast enough to reliably run these programs under a max budget of £1300. Again I am completely clueless so any help/feedback would be greatly appreciated!

If you forgo the second monitor and can stretch the budget a little, you could get a much better system...it would also allow you to get a much better GPU as/when you can afford it:

Hey, thanks for your reply.

Having 2 monitors makes 3D work and video editing so much easier so I definitely do want them. Would the specs you provided be suitable for that kind of setup?

I don't need anything crazy fast as long as it's an upgrade from my current iMac.
