First PC Post-Laptop Gaming Life

Hi!
I bought a laptop last year for just under €1k having been told it would be able to play all the new games but of course, that is untrue and I can't play any new games that aren't turn-based strategy! I love Civ and Stellaris but I've been eying up Death Stranding and Cyber Punk and would love to be able to play them.
I tend to only play one game at a time so I don't think I need a huge amount of storage as I uninstall games as I go, but please let me know what you think of the specs!
I would love to spend around the €1k mark again as my laptop purchase was fairly recent but willing to go up to about €1,300 if needed!

What resolution will you be playing at, and are you expecting to play on high or low settings?

My monitor is 1920x1080 resolution and I would be hoping to play on medium to high settings if possible within my budget?

My laptop is the Asus Vivobook S14:
Processor :11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz, 2419 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
