Spec seems good :)

I'd suggest an SSD from the M.2 SSD Drive menu though. 1) they're generally faster, even the cheaper ones and 2) the laptop only has 1 2.5" drive bay (the one the 860 Evo would occupy). You will ideally want to keep that free to give yourself as much flexibility as possible in the future for storage upgrades.

I'd also go with the 2666MHz RAM if it's not too much more expensive as some games can benefit a lot and it's a small % price difference relative to the overall cost of the laptop.

Thank you for your reply, to be honest I should of posted the pics prior to ordering the laptop to have someone check it 😅.

Unfortunately I had already ordered the laptop on Friday and don't currently have the money to make the amendments. Meh live and learn I guess , thank you for you for letting me know non the less :)

The amendments are usually free? Depending what stage of the process.

The cheaper M.2 SSDs are no more expensive than the Evo and the RAM's only a few quid

Item 3Change to 250GB SEAGATE BARRACUDA 2.5" SSD, (upto 560MB/sR | 530MB/sW) from 500GB Samsung 860 EVO 2.5" SSD, SATA 6Gb/s (upto 550MB/sR | 520MB/sW)
Item 4Change to 500GB SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 3500MB/R, 3200MB/W) from

Pricing Information
Price (Ex VAT)£70.83
Price£85.00

I may have done something wrong but I had put it through earlier and it came to that 😅 seeing as I'm paying through finance i assumed it'd get added to the total to be repaid but that doesn't seem the case and I currently don't have the cash upfront to ammend it

So the 970 Evo is an extremely expensive drive, I was suggesting one of the cheaper M.2 SSDs like the PCS one or the Intel 660p

And don't buy a random 250gb SSD in the 1st Hard Drive slot - that negates the point of trying to leave it empty for future upgrades :D

Switch it so that it's empty.

Aha sorry for being a super noob, I'll try and contact pc specialist tomorrow to see if I can get that sorted out 😅 . Thanks for the help

Cool :)

So what you might ideally want it to look like would be something like:

Chassis & Display
Optimus Series: 15.6" Matte Full HD 120Hz 45% NTSC LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™ i7 Six Core Processor 9750H (2.6GHz, 4.5GHz Turbo)
Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair 2666MHz SODIMM DDR4 (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card
NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2060 - 6.0GB GDDR6 Video RAM - DirectX® 12.1
1st Storage Drive
NOT REQUIRED
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2000 MB/R, 1100 MB/W)

This leaves the 1st Storage Drive bay free, giving you a wider choice of storage upgrades down the line. And you may well want to add more storage over the years

Thanks for the advice, I was able to make the changes today and as you said didn't cost anything really (like £3).
amendments meant the difference in price i think. that was the case for me when i was changing up my order, which @Oussebon really helped with. (shoutout to you oussebon. review of my Optimus X will be incoming once work eases up!)
