Flickering Screen

I went onto www.livescore.com and noticed the background was flickering on my new laptop i've just purchased from here. I then looked into this and found this website.

Change through the backgrounds and let me know if any flicker on your pc/laptop. My screen flickered on the following:

2a (slight annoying flickering)
4a (really badly!!)
5 (slight)

My screen flickers on 2a and 4a (really badly) also. And I'm working from an LG flatron wide 22".

I'm sure others will comment on this also. It's not a fault.

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure whether it was a fault or now. Now I know it isn't I can rest . Must just be a LED Screen problem. It only happens on them shades, not on films, photos or anything like that, the screen is so crisp and clear and the black are just black compared to "grey" on my old laptop (Sony Vaio).

Im yet to notice any flicker during actual use, i suspect those test might be aimed for CRT's

Yeah I think they are but its still useful to test any type of screen I think.

I'm getting flickers on 4b on my laptop - the rest are fine.
