So, this is a strange one which I've looked all over and couldn't find a solution or similar problems.
Whenever i start a game up i have immense frame drops, my frames range from 1-80 never going above.
So, when i reboot the game up (I've tried this through a standard in game quit, alt+f4, task manager stop) its a gamble. I will either get a constant 144fps (or whatever I've got it locked to) or my frames fluctuate but actually go above 80 (sits around 110/130).
games that i have noticed this with, Fallout 76 through Xbox app. FC24 through EA and most recently XDefiant through Ubisoft. I've only just noticed this all taking place within the last 3 months. I've had my pc for about 3 years now. My drivers are all up to date and I've tried putting settings to low on the games I've tried and still occurs
one of the things i was contemplating doing was a full reset of my pc and go again but i just want to see if anyone has any recommendations for me, Below is my pc build. Thank you for anyone who responds in advance.
