Having looked at the software vendors recommendations I'm trying to refine a spec to will give a good balance of cost and performance (as I'll need quite a few of them)

We have multiple applications running, mainly pointcloud processing and 3D modelling, although not much rendering work. Photoshop, Revit, that sort of thing along with some simulator type stuff. Whilst I'll say no games, we are building content using a games engine...

I'd appreciate any feedback on this spec.

Budget is flexible, for me it's about getting the right spec for the job....Let's try and keep it under £2.5k and closer to £2k but I'm interested in knowing if there's anything glaring bad about this spec.

Considering we already run half a dozen Omega IIs I can't help but think we've overkilled it at bit :D
