Fusion Series IV: 14". Touchpad , Noise Level & USB ports - PLEASE SOME FEEDBACK & ADVICE

Anyone out there who purchased this model & can give useful feedback? I have read a few users posts on the Fusion 14"Series III ( which looks identical ) complaining about:

1) Touchpad really difficult to use (jerky, jumpy, hard to position etc)
2) Noisy as it reaches full load ( This one seems like a general issue on all PC specialist laptops reviews)
3) It's really difficult to put USB cables / Pen drives into the ports.

As I am pondering the purchase of this laptop, any feedback will be greatly appreciated!!

All fresh USB ports are hard to use, it takes a few insertions (about 5-10?) to get the ports smooth on the Fusion IV.
As you speculate, noise at full load is something all laptops with a dedicated GPU, even a low-power one like the Fusion IV's MX250 GPU, suffer from.
My biggest gripe is the touchpad, which has a very strange and hard to describe surface (I think it's the same magnesium alloy as the chassis). It looks and feels smooth to the touch, but my fingers don't glide smoothly along its surface. When I use the touchpad, my finger stops and skips along the surface, which can be annoying. I found it easier to use by touching it very lightly as I move the mouse. It's not a problem with the actual touchpad registering touch as far as I can tell.

Hi Zugidor, many thanks for your feedback on the issues above!! How did you like the screen,?
PC Specialist specifies 72% NTSC coverage (99.9%sRGB), maybe optimistic? Also, they have no data published on the website regarding the Max brightness level (Nits) & viewing angles.
PC Specialist sales reps were not able to give an answer either on the subject- other than the barebone ODM does not provide the data. I have noticed an Industry trend that whenever a spec is somehow inadequate - it is not published or it is not available.

Other than the issues already mentioned, how would you evaluate this laptop? ( The good - and the bad? )

Many Thanks!! I really appreciate your comments !!
