Games & BSOD

Hey guys,

Been a long time since i posted here

Over the last 6 months I have getting random BSOD when playing games..but only since i purchased a game (sleeping dogs) does it happen all the time.

Here is what i have done:

- Installed the game new HDD & reinstalled it
- Removed all AMD drivers - installed new ones.

But the problem still persists...any suggestions?

would be worth posting the BSOD error code for anyone to know more and help you out.

could be memory or graphics related; i would re-seat the graphics card and memory, if still a problem and you're able try running with half the memory and swapping to see if there's a faulty stick

could be the graphics card overheating if it's only in games, check the fan for blockages.
you could check to see if there's a BIOS update but personally i'd only update if it is likely to be the cause.

have you got an overclocked system ?

If you're not confident tinkering with the insides then phone PCS, don't forget to unplug the power cable and earth yourself by touch a radiator before opening the case.
