Hi there,

I just took receipt of the machine below (massive shout out to Oussebon for this - i was originally planning to get a laptop but he showed me the light and designed my machine).

I finished downloading all my steam games yesterday and went straight into Warhammer Total War II. In full 4k at highest settings i can average 35fps, and it still looked pretty smooth. In 1440 it cruises at 60+fps at highest settings.
Add to that the fact i could only tell it was switched on because of the light on top (i was looking for something quiet so i could have it in the living room) and i am very happy indeed.
I will add some more stats once i've put a few more games through it.

Photo's to follow.

Great to hear it's all going well, and that it's suitably quiet too :)

As for the highest settings on 4k, note that some settings are going to be very demanding for little visual fidelity. Also things like Anti Aliasing aren't needed as much at 4k. This may give you more playable FPS at the higher resolution.

Yeah, I've been looking into the settings and how intensive they are. Last night i just played in 1440 as it was recommended on Nvidia's website for 60fps using the 1080ti and it was still pretty stunning. Xcom2, GTA V, Forza 6 apex and Destiny 2 downloaded overnight so they will be next up to see how they go. Good times! Thanks again for sorting me out.
