gaming desktop/ laptop

Hi guys,

I am thinking of building a gaming PC/ or laptop again with pcspecialist (already had a laptop from them) but I have a dilemma. I can get a pretty much hefty discount from one of the mainstream retailers with the current specs bellow:
  • Windows 10 Home 64
  • AMD Ryzen™ 7 3700X (3.6 GHz base clock, up to 4.4 GHz max boost clock, 32 MB L3 cache, 8 cores)
  • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3070 (8 GB GDDR6 dedicated)
  • HyperX® 16 GB DDR4-3200 XMP RGB SDRAM; 256 GB WD Black PCIe® NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD + 1 TB HDD storage
  • Coolmaster Air cooling solution; 500 W Bronze power supply; RGB lighting
I know its not the greatest and gpu is probably founder edition, but for the price I would like to see if I can build up something similar between this price range
Yes it is gaming omen and price after discount is £1400.
It will be used mostly for gaming at 1440p and video editing.

However, another '' great deal '' I could get for laptop is £1619 for the specs bellow. I hate intel but hey, amd isnt very good at temps either regards to 4800H and also for gaming, we dont need yet more than 6 cores on most games, and single core performance is still better on plagued intel.
  • Windows 10 Home 64
  • Intel® Core™ i7-10750H (2.6 GHz base frequency, up to 5 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 12 MB L3 cache, 6 cores)
  • 17.3" diagonal NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ Full-HD, 144 Hz, IPS, anti-glare display
  • 16 GB memory; 512 GB PCIe® SSD and 1 TB HDD storage
  • NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2080 Super™ (8 GB GDDR6 dedicated); Audio by Bang & Olufsen; DTS:X® Ultra; Fast charge; 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard; Faster Wi-Fi 6
This is Max P 150 watts version of the RTX 2080 super. to be honest, laptop would be more suitable for me but at the same time I am aware I could get nearly double the performance for the same price on a PC. I would like to hear yours suggestions/ opinions, the only problems is I have not much space for PC as I will be moving next 2-3 months but also I cannot wait longer.
