Gaming Laptop for 11yr old

Hi - my kid is just getting into gaming, nothing too heavy yet but as he moves to yr 7 I expect he'll start to play more memory intensive titles. He also want to do a bit of basic animation (stop motion etc) and digital art. With this in mind I need a spec that won't break the bank but will last a few years. How does this look?

512gb storage is pritty low can imagine once he gets into his gaming and stop motion that would fill up quite quickly what games does your son currently have a intrest in is it the usual fornite/among us / minecraft / valhiem ?
Also silver warrenty for £5 extra is a no brainer !!!

Thanks. Good point re storage and warranty. Yes, he plays fortnite, minecraft and stuff on roblox. Some of his mates play CoD etc so expect he'll be wanting these soon enough.

Changed a few things here, it's a little bit more expensive but I'd say it's more worth it here :)

16GB Corsair 2400MHz SODIMM DDR4 (2 x 8GB) - Changed it to 2 x 8 sticks as this is a lot better than 1 x 16 stick, would make performance better for playing games (especially Call Of Duty). Also knocked off £3.00
Graphics Card
NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 3050 Ti - 4.0GB GDDR6 Video RAM - DirectX® 12.1 - Not changed anything here, but would just like to point out this is mostly ideal for the games of Fortnite, Minecraft etc on a 1080p display. Not quite sure how this would perform on Call Of Duty, however, adjusting the quality in-game won't be an issue
1st Storage Drive
1TB Samsung 870 QVO 2.5" SSD, SATA 6Gb/s (up to 560MB/sR | 530MB/sW) - Changed this up to 1TB of storage, ideally it would be better to add more storage as Call Of Duty is quite a large game, and the other games with many mods can fill it up quite quickly. Not sure on what the max budget is here
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2000 MB/R, 1100 MB/W) - This would be the boot drive, to make the laptop perform a lot quicker for you. Again, unsure on the budget here

Some good advice from @TomBerry above, however I would consider:

- increasing the RAM to the 2933 speed - adds about £18.
- instead of the Samsung 870 storage drive, go for the 1TB PCS M2 drive - its a faster drive, reliable and only £2 more. Make sure you specify the smaller drive then as the OS drive.
