Gaming Laptop Help

I've just moved into a new place and don't have room for my gaming pc so have decided to sell and get a gaming laptop instead. Looking at paying around £1200 MAX! And want to be able to run all games without any issues. Been looking at Alienware since I've always wanted one but if someone could build me a better laptop than the Alienware 13 R3 for the same price or less be perfect thank you!

PCS don't have any 13" gaming chassis, but if 15.6" sounds fine then there are options.

Now, while users aren't allowed to comment on competitors' specs, I do think it's worth noting that it seems we're looking for something with an i5 CPU, 8gb RAM, 256gb PCIe SSD, a GTX 1050 2gb, and a 1366 x 768 screen or better for ~£1150 or less...

Thank you for that. I'm not good when it comes to laptops but would you say I could play any game on high/ultra settings with ease?

High, probably. Ultra, not really. That's the down side of gaming laptops - you're getting less performance for more £ and you can't upgrade it.

This site has an array of games benched on different mobile GPUs at a range of settings so should give you a fair idea of what you're in for.

A GTX 1060 would be a lot more powerful

Actually I hadn't realised the Defiance was at this kind of price level these days or else I'd have suggested it. I thought it was going to be well above 1.2k.

I understand, I spent so much on my pc years ago but sadly because of the size of it and not having a desk area or anything I don't really have a choice. Thanks for that hopefully put my order in next weekend!
