The spec I have is about right, vyper 17, 2070super, 32gb, 1tb storage.

I've got a bunch of nvme drives at home though, so going to bump the storage up after it comes.

Do we know any info about the 1tb PCS ssd, like its brand. I am interested in buying a vyper 17 as well and i am considering it.

I've no idea, and compared to the Samsung I know it 'looks' slow, however remember the figures listed are still over four times as quick as sata3 and its bound to be one of the usual suspects I would think.

oh and would you have a 2TB INTEL® 660p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 1800MB/sR | 1800MB/sW) storage instead and keep the other free for future use or is your config better.
thanks for all your help

All depends on the SSD side of things, I always put a v Fast NVME in as my boot/OS drive, just purely for snapiness, however a 2Tb Intel is pretty damn nippy, so go either way, both would be fine.

As for OS, I've got umpteen Windows Licenses against my Microsoft Account, so never need to buy an OS, if you have a machine with a licensed OS on it, then you can bind it to your account and transfer it's a license to your new machine from the old one, so saves 100 quid or thereabouts, you can also buy license personally it's pretty easy to find it discounted on online shops.

16gb unless your using photoshop/premiere/davince will be fine. As for a 256gb boot drive, any particular reason? If you do have reason then that's fine, just doesn't add anything in reality besides if you don't know how Windows manages its installs and management then could get full very quickly.

But as long as you know the default install paths and home directories is on the same drive and you manage it effectively should be ok.
