Gaming PC - any thoughts appreciated

Hi all,

Just placed my order and wanted to get any thoughts you guys had. Still have time to amend the order.

Spec comes to £1632 and budget is no more than £1700. Already have a decent 1440p monitor at home and windows 10 to transfer from my existing pc.

Bit unsure about the motherboard. Went for the asus but wonder whether I should have gone for the asorous pro instead. Want to overclock a little but will most likely use the auto settings so this needs to be a consideration.

Thanks in advance!

Jon

What’s it for and what’s your max budget?

What monitor are you pairing it with? What resolution and refresh rate?

You can reduce the memory down to 16Gb, anymore just won’t be usd.

You can reduce the PSU to 550w

Otherwise looks good.

As above, drop to 16gb. 32gb RAM's an utter waste, and not futureproof.

All things be equal I'd probably go with the SX6000 SSD as it's faster

I'd avoid this as it looks way too sealed up at the front. The Cooler Master K500 could be a better option. I'd go with the Corsair 460X
