I'll be using it for gaming (Genshin Impact, DBD, Sims 4 with 9GB of mods, Minecract are the biggest games I tend to play) and potentially streaming (I say potentially because if its now powerful enough for streaming and I need to pay tons more to get it to streaming level then nah)
Budget-wise, if I can get it lower I'd love to, but the max budget is £1.6k.

Like I said in the title, I know next to nothing about PC's, I googled most of the parts above to check if they were doing the bare minimum, the graphics card is the same as my gaming laptop so that's why I picked it. I'd appreciate if someone could tell me whether this is likely to be a loud or quiet pc as I really, really want a quiet computer after a gaming laptop. Would also appreciate if someone more knowledgeable about the market would know if these prices are likely to go up around December/January as thats when I'm likely going to be buying it.

I'd come back then, as prices and what's available will have changed greatly by then as new CPU's and GPU's are launching shortly

By December we’ll have a new generation of both CPUs and GPUs so the market will have changed quite a bit by then.
Resurrect this thread a little closer to the time of purchase and we’ll help you spec something out then. 🙂

Ahh good to hear! Do you think they'll be more on the pricier side than what we currently have? I posted this in advance so I knew roughly how to budget as I'm playing to buy this in one go and not on finance.

Whatever budget you have, we build to that.

But what you can currently get for a budget, you'll get far more power (about 50% more CPU and 70% more GPU plus 100% faster SSD's) for the same money on next gen. It's a major upgrade in a lot of areas.

So just to recap, we’re looking at around £1600 for PC + Monitor, for gaming and streaming (if we can fit it in the budget?).
